Police Union: Government Wrongly Claims Police on Full Strength

Contrary to what the government claims in its 2009 budget, the police is not functioning at full strength. In many police precincts there is such a shortage of staff available for emergency assistance that the police protection is not always reliable. This was stated by Han Busker, chairman of the NPB police union. He added that he gets complaints about this on a daily basis from policemen.
