Dutch Press Asks for Government Support


Representatives of the Dutch press have asked Parliament to take measures to help them. Their income is falling as a result of the credit crisis, a decline in the number of readers and decreasing revenues from advertising. Members of Parliament, who are looking for new ideas to help the press, said that they had not heard anything new in the meeting.
