Dutch Parliamentary Delegation Unhappy with Meetings in Aruba

There have again been problems at the semi-annual meetings of a Dutch Parliamentary delegation in the Dutch Antilles and Aruba. Several ministers from Aruba have cancelled their speeches, probably as a protest against the presence of Parliamentarian Hero Brinkman (Freedom Party), who has described both the Dutch Antilles and Aruba as “nests of corruption.” After Brinkman was threatened, his party leader Geert Wilders said that if something would happen to his colleague, he would travel to Venezuela to beg President Chavez “to take over the corrupt, criminal, medieval Aruban gang.”
