Trade Union: More Security Cameras Required on Buses

The FNV Bondgenoten trade union has requested that the Veolia bus company install security cameras on all its buses. It also wants the company to increase the number of inspectors from four to 50. This comes as a reaction to a case where a bus driver in Apeldoorn was attacked in the early morning and was forced to hand over his watch and a brief case. Since this took place early in the morning, the emergency alarm could not be used as the office staff had not yet come in. In response to this attack there was a short strike of bus drivers.
