Christian Democrats: Election Reporting Characterized by Amateurism

Christian Democrat Parliamentarian Joop Atsma has said that the way the national news service NOS reported on the European elections was the epitome of amateurism. After only a quarter of the votes had been counted, the public service stopped broadcasting. The picture disappeared regularly, the stage management was poor and, in the final debate, not even all the parties were represented. He added that the NOS would never deal with a soccer game in this manner. He has asked for clarifications.
