Dutch Soccer Association (KNVB): Proof of Game Fixing

The Dutch Soccer Association (KNVB) has now confirmed that in 2009, a premier league game between Utrecht and Willem II was fixed.  This is the first time that this has happened at such a high level.  The KNVB says that a Singaporean, who has been fixing games worldwide, was behind the fixing of this particular match.  The key player involved was Ibrahim Kargbo, from Sierra Leone, who was playing on the Willem II team at the time.  He is suspected of having involved two other Willem II players.  The KNVB considers it probable that a game between Willem II and the national team of Sierra Leone was also fixed.
