Dutch industry does not reduce greenhouse gases

An analysis by the Dutch weekly, the Groene Amesterdammer shows that the Dutch industry is a poor performer as far as the emissions of greenhouse gases are concerned. While the emissions of the European industry have been reduced by 26% since 2005, those of the Netherlands have increased by 2%.  The paper says that without efforts of the industry, climate policies are useless.

Dutch government should take steps to reduce the effect of emission of gases. There should be regulations imposed on the industry about gases emission and the one's who disobey them should be punished.
